Professor Chen Yuanfang, originally from Yiwu, Zhejiang, holds dual PhDs from Dalian University of Technology and Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris VI), France. She is a professor at Hangzhou Dianzi University, a master’s supervisor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a recipient of the “Qianjiang Talent” and “Elite Talent” honors. As a high-level talent at the USTC Deqing Alpha Innovation Institute and the lead expert at Zhejiang's Key Laboratory of Discrete Intelligent Manufacturing, she has led national and provincial research projects, including an EU project on big data. She has published over 100 papers, holds 15 patents, and developed the award-winning X-IEIS industrial AI inspection system.

Professor Chen is an expert reviewer for the NSFC, Ministry of Education, and multiple provincial science and technology departments. She has served as a judge in major competitions like the “Internet+” Innovation Contest and the “Bloom Cup” 5G+ Challenge. Her students have won top national awards under her guidance, and her work in real-time industrial AI has been featured by People’s Daily Overseas Edition.
