Jinglin Zhang

Jinglin Zhang is a professor at the School of Control Science and Engineering, Shandong University. He holds a Doctorate in Engineering and has held academic and research roles at institutions including Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Rennes in France. He also contributed to national-level science funding programs through his work with the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

His research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence with atmospheric science, particularly in remote sensing image processing and computer vision. He has led key projects addressing disaster weather forecasting, meteorological satellite image analysis, and intelligent meteorological systems. His work has led to the development of benchmark datasets, innovative models, and nationally recognized technologies for meteorological applications.

Dr. Zhang has received multiple honors and awards for his contributions, including prestigious regional and national distinctions. He has published extensively, with over 70 academic papers and numerous invention patents. He continues to lead major research initiatives in intelligent meteorology, remote sensing, and interdisciplinary AI applications.
