Xiaolin Qin

Xiaolin Qin serves as Deputy Chief Engineer and Professor at the Chengdu Institute of Computer Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and also holds the positions of Professor and PhD Supervisor at the University of CAS. He is a Senior Member of both CCF and IEEE. His academic and professional accolades include being named a Leading Talent in Scientific and Technological Innovation under Sichuan's Tianfu Qingcheng Program, a Provincial Academic and Technical Leader, a recipient of the Sichuan Outstanding Youth Science Fund, and a Science and Technology Elite under the Tianfu Ten-Thousand Talents Program. He has been awarded the First-Class Provincial/Ministerial Award, the Second Prize of Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award, and the President's Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has presided over more than 10 major research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key R&D Program, the CAS STS Program, and the Sichuan Major Science and Technology Special Project in Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, he has published over 30 high-level academic papers in top-tier journals and conferences in the field of artificial intelligence, such as TIP, ICCV, ECCV, and ACM MM.
