Xingye Liu

Professor Xingye Liu is affiliated with the College of Geophysics at Chengdu University of Technology in Sichuan, China. His research focuses on reservoir characterization and modeling, seismic inversion, geophysical fluid dynamics, and the application of machine learning in geophysical exploration.

He has led and contributed to multiple national and collaborative research projects aimed at improving seismic data analysis and reservoir prediction technologies. His work has practical applications in oil and gas exploration, contributing significantly to production efficiency and field development strategies.

Professor Liu has authored over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and more than 20 international conference papers. He actively reviews for over 20 scientific journals, having evaluated more than 200 manuscripts, and serves on editorial boards including Petroleum Geology and Recovery Efficiency, Coal Geology & Exploration, and Earth Sciences.
