Xinqun Zhu

Dr. Xinqun Zhu is an Associate Professor in Structural Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). His research focuses on structural health monitoring, condition assessment, vehicle-bridge interaction, advanced signal processing, sensor technologies, and physics-informed machine learning.

He has served as Chief Investigator on more than 20 research projects, including multiple competitive grants, and has published over 290 scholarly works, including two books and more than 160 peer-reviewed journal articles. His publications are widely cited, reflecting his strong impact in the field.

Dr. Zhu is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and serves on various professional committees, including the Executive Committee of the Australian Network of Structural Health Monitoring and the Structural Health Monitoring and Control Committee of the ASCE Engineering Mechanics Institute. He is also an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Advances in Structural Engineering and serves on the editorial boards of several other journals.
