Ooi Kok

Dr. Ooi Kok Loang, LLM, CMIIA, CIA, is a faculty member in the Department of Finance at the University of Malaya, specializing in behavioural finance, capital markets, and financial regulation. He holds a Ph.D. in Behavioural Finance and a Master’s in Finance from Universiti Sains Malaysia, as well as an LL.M. in Business Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia. A US Certified Internal Auditor, Dr. Ooi brings professional experience from KPMG and leadership roles in academia, including Deputy Dean and Programme Head positions. His research is widely published in international journals, and he actively serves as a reviewer for top-tier SCI and Scopus-indexed publications. Dr. Ooi is committed to mentoring PhD students in a dynamic and research-driven environment.
