Enrico Zacchei
Dr. Enrico Zacchei is a civil engineering researcher with extensive international academic and technical experience. He has held visiting positions at the Institute of Mechanics, Materials and Civil Engineering (IMMC) at UCL in Belgium and the Department of Civil Engineering at UNESP in Brazil. He is also a professor for Special Projects at Maua Institute of Technology (IMT), Brazil. He holds dual PhDs from the University of Salamanca (USAL), Spain, in co-tutorship with the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, and from UNESP, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Structural Engineering from UniRoma Tre, Italy.
With 9 years of industry experience in Italy, Brazil, and Portugal, and 7 years in scientific research, he has coordinated 4 projects and contributed to 13 funded research initiatives, including 10 exceeding €500,000. He has authored over 40 high-impact journal papers, delivered keynote presentations at international conferences, and received 10 scholarships and 2 academic awards. He has conducted research at institutions including USP, UNESP, UMA, and UCL, and currently serves as a Research Fellow at INTI University, Malaysia, and Honorary Adjunct Faculty at LPU, India.
