Faik Bilgili
Faik Bilgili received his Ph.D. degree in Economics from the City University of New York, Graduate Center (NY).
He taught statistics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics at Queens College (Queens), Wagner College (SI), and New York City College of Technology (Brooklyn), respectively. Dr. Bilgili has been teaching econometrics (Ph.D.), microeconomics (BA, Ph.D.), and macroeconomics (BA) at Erciyes University, FEAS (Kayseri).
His research interests are (i) Macroeconomic modeling, business cycles, natural resources, stochastic dynamic general equilibrium, (ii) Energy efficiency, oil, natural gas, biomass, biofuels, biodiesels, hydrogen, hydropower, solar, geothermal, wind, shale gas, (iii) Global warming, climate change, CO₂ emissions, energy economics and policy, and (iv) Matrix algebra, time series & panel data, wavelet coherence, regime-switching, software and data mining, data analytics, machine learning, convergence, linear-nonlinear programming, modeling, estimation, forecasting, and simulation.
