Fatima Zahra Moussaid
Dr. Fatima Zahra Moussaid is an Assistant Professor at the National School of Business and Management, Ibn Tofail University, Kenitra, Morocco. She specializes in environmental economics, sustainable development, and the water-energy-food nexus. Her Ph.D. research focused on water-economic decoupling in Morocco using supervised machine learning techniques. She has also worked as a consultant and research assistant with institutions such as 4C Morocco and 4way Consulting, contributing to national and regional studies on climate finance, SDG alignment, and resource management.
Dr. Moussaid has published several peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, and Springer, and has presented at international conferences in Europe, Asia, and Africa. She is a peer reviewer for Springer’s Environment, Development and Sustainability and actively participates in research networks such as IPAM, LIRSEG, and 2ESD. Her work bridges academic research with practical policy insights in climate and development economics.
